    Adash, 4 liters of water for V100 is way 2 much. Both for biking and running. I did the duathlon with 1 bottle of 800ml on the frame and then in my hands. You will take out a lot of weight and you will feel the difference. Always skip the first aid station and ride straight to the second one. There just fill to top and to the next one. Your max should be ... 1.5l. use 2 bottles, one big for the water and one small for the electrolytes. I would avoid the bag in a race because to re-fill it you spend a lot more time than to open the bottle cap. Dont be afraid to go with less water. Just remember, when you see free water always make sure to fill your bottles to the top. Always use "soft" bottles, one you can squizz to create pressure. With this you can clear your gears from mud. The night before the race put both botles of water inside the fridge to get frozen. You will enjoy it :)

    • @NikolaTubeNikolov
      @NikolaTubeNikolov Місяць тому

      I don’t like cold water. I had 3 liters capacity but I didn’t use the 1 liter bottle. And I lost it at the end 😅 next year I will do better prep. Most time that I lost was on the traffic jams at the start. Next year I will push harder from the start because I was trying to preserve my energy for the end.

    • @nickmastera
      @nickmastera Місяць тому

      @@NikolaTubeNikolov yep, the traffic jam is the deal braker. The problem is too much people that have powers for 30km only hahahha are pushing harder and then they are dead on the single and not brave enough or expirienced enough to make fast downhills lets say. How can you break before each mud or puddle on the ground causing collisions. Whatever. Next year again. Make a good strategy!

    I have been using it for the past 6-9 months. Not recommended. The mouse scroll is not working now. There is some problem with the mouse in terms of battery, it empties the battery after each month no matter how good a cell you use, so that's a headache. Keyboard cells are fine, still using original cells. Keyword slimness feels good. Overall satisfied with the keyboard quality. But there is a major problem with keyboard keys design, they do not follow standard keyboard design and because of this if you are a programmer you will find it a little difficult to set your hands on certain keys, especially the cursor keys are too blend within overall keyboard its gets difficult to find without looking at the keyboard which wastes time. So overall, it's not a worthy product.

    I still have mine ('product1' NT650) for the last 22 years, you will note the frame number on the Hawks and 650's is 'RC31' and was made on parallel production lines with the much more famous 'racing' RC30 V4 machine. Look at the aluminium frame on the RC30 and the aluminium 'Elf' single side swinging arm to see how they match. 'RC' is the term Honda used for their racing chassis machines. The BROS name came from 'Two Brothers' racing. Ignore what it says on Wikipedia about the 400 and 650 being 'brothers', I think someone made that up. If it was true then the CB250 Superdream and the CB400 Superdream were also 'brothers' - but they never were in English. Simple Google 'Two Brothers racing' and you will confirm the following: Two Bros Racing started in 1985 set about making a V twin racer to conquer all before them in their class. This they did so well they were accused of cheating by having too much Honda factory support. And indeed they did have a Former factory Honda tuner in Mike Velasco helping them. There was also a problem with the rules in Twin racing which were 'too loose' and so 'bending' the rules a little was considered fair game. This success is how, Honda came to recognise their achievements and when the Honda BROS RC31, was released in 1988 it was called the Honda Hawk to suit the US market and the Honda BROS for Japan. (The main reason the Honda BROS ended up outside of Japan in such significant numbers as a 'grey import' was because it was considered expensive compared to a Honda CBR600, and hence, many ended up heavily discounted and shipped to the rest of the world. As you might expect motorbike racing schools loved the Honda BROS, where it could perform well on the track without the maintenance burden of a 4 cylinder bike. The narrowness of the V twin, also helped with creating more ground clearance on the race track. When the Honda BROS was imported into the UK as a 'grey product' it still had Japanese labels on it, plus the Japanese Kmph speed limit light factory set at 80 kmph and both front indicator lights set to come on as steady 'marker' lights. However, by using a mechanical speedo converter on mine: that 80 kmph warning limit is now 80 mph for me = much more useful. Far from being that rare in the UK they do have a 'cult' following along with the Honda Hawk in the US. As you have noted they are an easy machine to live with, and many will make it passed 200k miles. Many of them, were indeed used in the big UK cities, (mostly London) as despatch bikes. With the engine possessing low down grunt, low maintenance and being very narrow, these were all good news in despatch land. And that's exactly how I got mine 'third hand' in 2002. I survived a whole year with Worlds End Couriers, probably the best job I even had (on the good days :0). WEMOTO in the UK are still a BROS supporters and thanks to Hexagon Motorcycles who helped me out with repairs many a time. Honda UK chose that the UK market should have the Revere 650, same engine and with shaft drive, that eventually became the Honda Deauville. These now provided a bigger tank, sit up handlebars and shaft drive = much better for long distance work. There are loads of articles on the internet about how to improve the BROS, definitely 'a keeper' in my opinion and was also a great 'commuter bike' when I had to do my daily trips round the M25 for 4 years! While the BROS 400 'product2' may be called an NC25 for some reason, and it does not have the HP of the 650, I have heard the 400 does have the smoother power delivery and makes a good learner bike.

    Hey mate thanks for the review , may i know how tall are you ? and also do you feel any vibrations that are quite bad? Does it feel heavier than your africa twin ? At low speed which is better this or the africa twin ? does it feel top heavy or more centered mass ?

    • @NikolaTubeNikolov
      @NikolaTubeNikolov 4 місяці тому

      I’m 175cm tall. The seat is adjustable though but I think it is on the lower settings because my legs are bent a lot. The bike is balanced. No vibrations and it doesn’t feel top heavy as the Africa Twin. Still it may be heavier than other non v2 or v4 bikes. These engines are tall and really it is hard to move the weight down. This one is better at lower speeds.

      Check the tension of your chain, if its too tight you will get vibration through the foot pegs. The manual will tell you how tight the chain should be with the swinging arm on the bike.

      Mine broke. It was the clutch cassette but my mechanic told me that it may be the crank shaft and it is not worth the effort to fix it. So I sold it to a guy that still fixes the bike.
